Before starting this chapter, we spent over 18 years co-building and operating PropertySpaces, a real estate photography business based in Toronto. Since 2008, we grew it from a one-person operation into a team managing over 1,500 appointments a year.
Running a high-volume service business meant dealing with real operational problems every day — scheduling, invoicing, coordination, follow-ups, and reliability at scale. When existing tools didn't fit, we built and adapted our own systems to keep things running smoothly.
